LinkTree Cancels LibsOfTiktok After WaPo Doxxing

One of the most popular right-wing Twitter accounts Wednesday said that it has been banned from using an online link-sharing service.

“Linktree just deleted my account citing ‘inappropriate use of this service,'” said Twitter account LibsOfTikTok. “When I try to log in it says my account is no longer accessible. Why am I suddenly being censored?”

Linktree is an Australian social media tool used by popular influencers online. It allows them to share links to all of their different social media profiles on one webpage.

LibsOfTikTok, which has more than one million followers on Twitter, reposts videos from TikTok – another popular social media site – highlighting the rantings of the far left. It has exposed many left-wing teachers who post about teaching social justice issues in their classrooms.

The social linking site did not provide any further update on why it banned LibsOfTikTok, and did not return a comment request from The Tennessee Star Thursday.

However, the ban comes after a controversial piece was published in The Washington Post about the identity of the person who runs the account. That piece claimed that LibsOfTikTok was targeting LGBT people for harassment, despite the fact that it only reposts what left-wingers themselves are saying on social media.

Linktree has a “hate speech” policy, outlining terms for which the site can and cannot be used.

“Linktree is a place to share beliefs and ideas as long as it does not cause harm, incite hatred or violence, or discriminate against individuals and groups based on race, skin color, national origin, religious beliefs, sex, gender, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, disability or medical condition,” that police says. “We’re also not a platform that should be used to glorify perpetrators of hatred, violence, or discrimination either”

It is possible that the site used this policy to justify its ban of LibsOfTikTok.

Thursday, LibsOfTikTok was using an alternative site called All My Links to share its content.
