A Racine County man says he committed voter fraud to prove a point about voter fraud in Wisconsin.

Harry Wait, a member of the group Honest, Open, and Transparent Government, told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that he ordered ballots for Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and Racine Mayor Cory Mason through the state’s online voting system.

Racine County Distributing Free Fentanyl Tests to Combat Opioid Epidemic, Prevent Overdose Deaths

Racine County, Wisconsin has begun distributing fentanyl tests to the public in the county’s “continued efforts to battle the opioid epidemic and prevent overdose deaths.”

Officials have discovered a disturbing trend with street narcotics in the community, with Racine County’s Outpatient Clinic Manager Pauline Ortloff expressing in a statement, “Many narcotics are laced with deadly fentanyl, and users have no idea that what they are ingesting may be lethal. Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that can be 80-100 times stronger than morphine. The purpose of fentanyl test strips is to allow the user to test the substance before using it to determine if fentanyl is present.”

Racine County Sheriff to File Charges Against Wisconsin Election Commission Members

The Racine County Sheriff’s Office announced that it will file criminal charges against five of the six members of the Wisconsin Election Commission.

Sheriff Schmaling recommended charges to Racine County District Attorney Patricia Hanson for Commissioners Margaret Bostelmann, Julie Glancey, Ann Jacobs, Dean Knudson, and Mark Thomsen. The charges for each commissioner include two felonies and three misdemeanors.

Racine County Sheriff Refers Election Fraud Charges for State Elections Commissioners to County District Attorney’s Office

Wisconsin’s Democrat Governor Tony Evers said on Tuesday that Racine County officials should file charges if they believe election laws were broken at a Racine nursing home. “It’s pretty simple,” Evers said during a news conference in Madison. “It’s not something that should be made more complex by the politics. Somebody screwed up, they should be prosecuted. Simple as that.”

The Racine County Sheriff on Wednesday decided to take the governor’s suggestion to heart, and sent a felony criminal referral for members of the Wisconsin Election Commission (WEC) to prosecutor’s office.
