Federal Judge Orders Wisconsin School District to Allow Transgender Student to Use Girls’ Bathroom

A federal judge in Wisconsin ordered a Milwaukee-area school district to allow biological male students who identify as female to use the girls’ bathroom and locker room facilities.

Eastern District of Wisconsin Judge Lynn Adelman, a Clinton appointee, in a ruling last week prohibited the Mukwonago Area School District from enforcing its policy requiring students to use the restrooms and locker rooms that correspond with their sex assigned at birth.

The school, whose board unanimously approved the policy on June 26, also said they would allow exceptions or accommodations on a “case-by-case basis,” according to the local NBC affiliate.

An 11-year-old transgender student, represented by her mother, quickly filed a lawsuit against the policy.

Adelman wrote in his order that the student was “designated ‘male’ on her birth certificate, but she has identified as female since the age of three.”

The judge found that the school’s policy “punishes that individual for his or her gender non-conformance” and that a gender-neutral alternative bathroom is not enough and it would violate Title IX, which the Biden administration is using to prevent schools from enacting policies restricting transgender students.

I just knew it would have to be Lynn Adelman. He has been a thorn in the side of Wisconsin his entire public life. Many of his ruling have cost Wisconsin millions of dollars. Too bad his mother didn’t visit a PP clinic for some “health care” when he was just a cluster of cells.
